Where Do I Sign?

After meeting the conditional requirements of the bank and completing all of your inspections, there will be a final set of loan documents for you to sign. If you have not taken care of any other escrow paperwork prior to signing your loan documents, this will be the opportunity to do it. Don’t be surprised, because it will be a significant amount of paperwork. Though traditionally loan documents are signed at the escrow office, I prefer to handle this part in person. No doubt you will have a lot of questions, so I try to personalize the experience by reviewing this paperwork in a more comfortable environment such as your home or my office. The escrow officer often has six appointments after you that she’d like to handle by 5 o clock. My approach is for you to take as much time as you need.
